Usually, many visitors think that there is nothing to explore in the Colombo city, but if you take a closer look of the city, there are so many places to visit and things to do in the Colombo city. Let’s start the Sri Lanka tour from the busiest place of the town, the Pettah market, where you can find every kind of goods at very cheap price. In Colombo there few more tourist hotspots, such as Galle Face to enjoy some sea breeze, Gangaramaya Temple, Independence square, National Museum of Colombo and more.

After breakfast explore the city of Colombo. A guided sightseeing tour around Colombo shows local market of Pettah, various temples, mosques and much more which takes 3 to 4 hours usually.

Colombo/Sigiriya
Today you will proceed to Sigiriya, Enjoy the gorgeous view from above before spending your evening at leisure.
On the way to Sigiriya, we will pass the popular cities in Sri Lanka like Kurunegala and Dambulla which were ancient capitals of Sri Lanka. These fallen kingdoms have great historical and religious value.There many places to visit in these two cities, few of them are Dambulla cave temple (which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Ethkanda Raja Maha Viharaya Kurunegala, not only the temples there hiking destinations like Piduruthalagala and Wilderness Park like Minneriya National Park too. After reaching to Sigiriya town you can spend your evening leisurely.
Simply is referred as the “Eighth Wonder of the World” by Sri Lankans, and Sigiriya is a 660ft height rock, on the top of that rock there was a castle. So, on top of the rock, there are ancient ponds to witness. Still we have the question, in the ancient time, how people able to take water from down to top of this rock.

Sigiriya (city tour)
After an early breakfast visit the, and climb a massive rock fortress which rises 600 feet from the green scrub jungle to accentuate the lucid blue of the sky.
Afternoon activities in Habarana such as Elephant ride, Village tour and canoe boat ride in marshy lake.
This Fortress was built by the King Kashyapa in 477 – 495 CE . Even after thousands of years we can still see the Lion Gate, the beauties on the wall artwork, and the mirror wall which is full of poems of ancient poets.
Among the places which are left for now in Sigiriya to see, the water garden, boulder Garden and the terraced garden are the jewels for this royal fortress. After climbing the rock fortress you can have elephant ride near the lake and in the evening you can enjoy village tour and canoe boat ride in Marshy lake.

Sigiriya/Anuradhapura/Sigiriya
After Breakfast you will transfer to Anuradhapura, one the most celebrated of Sri Lanka’s ancient ruined cities. If you’re not too tired, you could visit the Ritigala ruins on return to the hotel. However a 4 x 4 vehicle should be hired to conduct this excursion.
Afternoon-Evenning in safari Wilpattu National Park.
You have the option of enjoying an early morning Hot Air Balloon Ride or take part in the Habarana village Trek where you can experience the lives of villagers.
Anuradhapura is the first ancient kingdom of Sri Lanka , the city is full of ancient temples and castle ruins , this city is also called as “city of ruins”. There so many places to visit in Anuradhapura, among those, the Jaya Siri Maha Bodhiya , Ruwanwelisaya and Mihinthale are the highlights. These places are rich of cultural and religious values.
This ancient capital has long history and it was a capital for long time in ancient days. Because of this, the city is filled with ancient temples and ruins these days.
At the beginning of the day tour, you can have a choice between hot air balloon ride or the village trek.

Sigiriya/Kandy
Have breakfast and travel to Kandy; one of the most beautiful cities of Sri Lanka that is known for its scenic beauty and rich cultural value.
En-route you have the option to visit

- Visit Matale Alu Vihare Temple
In the evening visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and later in the evening witness a Cultural Dance performance.

Kandy/Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden. Within the delightfully landscaped greenery, visitors will come across numerous birds including endemic species like the Yellow Fronted Barbet, Lanyards Parakeet, Sri Lankan Hanging Parrot, Brown Capped Babbler and a number endemic reptiles as well as 18 species of mammals.
After you will leave for Nuwara-Eliya, which is considered to be the most important location for tea production in the island. Tea plantation and a tea factory, where the best tea in the world is produced. You could observe all about the process of manufacturing tea.

- Evening Visit Gregory Lake and Victoria Park
You can spend your morning among colorful flowers and birds at Royal Botanical Garden or the Peradeniya Botanical garden is near to the Mahaweli River, in Kandy. This charming garden spread across 147 acres and has more than 4000 species of plants which includes palm trees, medicinal plants, spices and orchids.
You may able to see some endemic bird spices in the garden itself such as Lanyards Parakeet, Sri Lankan Hanging Parrot, Yellow Fronted Barbet etc. On your way to the Tea Country (Nuwara Eliya), visit Ramboda water falls and Hanuman Temple. In the Evening you can visit Gregory Lake and Victoria Park in Nuwara Eliya, and if you wish, you can enjoy a bicycle ride around the lake.

After breakfast, proceed to Visit Horton plains. Explore Horton Plains National Park & World’s End holidays and discover the best time and places to visit. (Worlds end, Mini worlds end and Bakers falls)
- Evening Visit Gregory Lake and Victoria park.
Horton plains is one of important place that you can visit while you are in Nuwara Eliya. You can have different experience at Horton Plains, which is a national park so obviously you can see wild animal s and birds around there, Sri Lankan Sambar Deer live there as large herds, birds like Sri Lanka white eye, and there are many plants like Aristea ecklonii (it is one of the invasive species on Horton Plains). The World’s End which is covered with mist is the major tourist attraction in the Horton Plains, Nuwara Eliya.

Nuwara Eliya/weligama.
After breakfast proceed to Sothern beach area.
En route Visit Dutch fort Galle.The Dutch Galle Fort is a rare historical jewel protected by dark, thick stone walls – with the endless ocean on one side is a UNESCO declared Heritage site.

On your Way to Weligama let’s visit the Galle Fort or the Dutch Fort Galle, which was built in 1588 by the Portuguese. Inside the fort there are safe beach area which you can have a quick bath or enjoy the salty breeze. If you take a walk inside the fort, there are many shops which are selling jewelry made by sea shells, wall hangers, hand loom clothes, ornaments, and you will have a chance to taste some street food, ice cream and experience a lovely evening in this UNESCO declared heritage site.

Weligama Beach
Enjoy the rest of the day on the beach with a smooth drink in your hands. Spend some quiet time taking in some sun bathing and sit back and with beautiful blue waters of the ocean.
Here comes the beach days, you can enjoy these days by watching the endless blue sea while laying on the sandy beach of Weligama. This beach is an ideal place for surfing , wind surfing and kite surfing. If you do not like to go into water, the Weligama has a wide beach area, you may play beach ball or just enjoy the nature and the waves. Apart from the beach, let’s visit traditional fishermen in Weligama or take a tour to watch whale & dolphin in Mirissa. Weligama is a small populated city, still continuing traditional beeralu lace weaving descended from Portuguese and Dutch lace-making.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport.
